Life happens in moments.

As a wife and mother of four, I know how important these moments are. I also know how fleeting and fragile they can be.

That is why I love photography. It is so fulfilling to be able to capture these moments in a creative, artistic and natural way. When it's done right, a photograph becomes so much more than a simple picture.

It becomes life in a moment.

Munoz family sneak peek!

My mini-session with the Munoz family was lots of fun. This family is so sweet, and little "K" just cracked me up with her cute giggles. My son came with me so that we could spend a little time together afterward and boy am I glad that I brought him along. He managed to make "K" laugh like you wouldn't believe!

Thanks for letting me spend the evening with you guys!

Swimming!

"Buddha" started swimming lessons a couple of weeks ago, and has been doing such a great job. Me not being a morning person, it took some getting used to, having him there bright and early. But it was so worth it to see him progress and enjoy what he was doing.

Of course, the girls and "Munchkin" only enjoyed watching for the first day, then after that they got bored pretty quickly. So what better way to spend the time than posing for the camera and putting rubber bands on their faces?

As soon as they saw how much fun "Buddha" was having, they all wanted to go swimming too, and since the weather has been CRAZY rainy, we decided to take advantage of the indoor pool. They all love the water and it's so nice to get in and play with them.

One of the reasons I watermark my pictures

Ever get annoyed with photographers putting a big watermark over their images? I have always tried to put mine on my pictures kind of discreetly, but I'm thinking I need to start making it even bigger.
